The current staff team are led by our Activities Co-ordinator Lindsey Foster, supported by Leanne Woodrup and Howard Jones. They all have experiences in care and transfer these skills to work with our residents. Additionally they have all done external training in activity therapy and have learning in Dementia Care and Positive Mental Health. They have recently completed Aqua Hydrotherapy training and offer a wealth of individuality and creativity.
This is an example of our Events Calendar to cover both day to day activities and seasonal events. Please also read some of the special things we do as a direct response to our resident’s needs and their involvement.

We attempt to build in theme days, seasonal activities, celebrations of birthdays/anniversaries and generally whatever anyone wants to do. We cater for a diverse choice of activities and a lot of ideas are from information gained via our life story work.
Asquith Hall is awaiting the local Drama students at Todmorden High school to present a variety of sketches around our resident’s life stories. We are proud to be part our community and have involvement with our local school.
Asquith Hall is having a barbeque, let’s hope the weather holds up? Homemade Beef burgers, Chicken, Sausage etc. Not to mention our favourite Cupcakes and Trifles made by our chefs, Victor, Diane Mark and Michael.
Join us for the seasonal brass bands in the park, on our Victorian Band Stand.
Residents are enjoying the good weather this week and we have taken advantage of our new garden area. Strawberries and cream and picnic teas are being served.
The ladies at Asquith Hall are involved in preparing for our new arrival. Our deputy manager Siobhan is counting the weeks for the safe arrival of her new baby boy. Our ladies love the baby theme as this is our 3rd Asquith Hall baby this year.
